I joined Ford Motor Company in 1985 after earning a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Penn State and later completed my M.S. in Industrial & Systems Engineering at the University of Michigan-Dearborn. While my degrees are in engineering, I spent my career in Information Technology, focusing on systems, processes, and problem-solving.
My family and I moved to the City of Plymouth in 1998, drawn by the strong sense of community. That sense of connection remains one of the things I value most about living here.As my family and career demanded less of my time, I became more interested in how the City operates. I was appointed to the Planning Commission in 2016 and served for eight years, including as Chair from 2019 through the end of my term in 2024. That experience gave me a deeper understanding of the City’s processes and the importance of public involvement.
In November of 2025, I was elected to the Plymouth City Commission. As I transition into this role, I plan to continue sharing information and providing perspective on issues affecting our community through this blog.
This blog is a personal effort to provide information and context. While I serve as a City Commissioner, the views expressed here are my own and do not represent official positions of the City of Plymouth or the City Commission.
